Course Description
In this seminar, we are going to cover assessments, strategies and orthopedic acupuncture techniques for addressing commonly seen pain conditions and injuries of the upper back, neck, shoulder, elbow, and wrist. We will be taking a blended approach of anatomy informed orthopedic acupuncture and classical Chinese medicine theory.
Basic theory and biomechanical considerations will be delivered in an online lecture a week before the seminar (pre-recorded). In the seminar we will jump right into hands-on learning covering palpation and physical assessments, advanced needling techniques, tui na, and home care considerations.
Participants will have access to the online lecture as well as demonstration videos of techniques for 1 year following the seminar.
Demonstrations will be recorded at the live seminar and participants will have access to the videos for 1 year following the seminar.
